Anyway I was a member of a regional championship team in hoops ( had a former UK player on the team ) , a member of a regional champion in baseball , coached 2 different HS teams to a elite 8 and 1 to a final 4 as recently as 2 years ago ( not hoops) , turned around a failing small college team into a winner in 2 years ... so I know a thing or 2 about winning and coaching , and players ... does that make my anonymous comments carry any more weight ? not really .

I would guess some of the mean spirited comments on here are a measure of disappointment due to a loss. If we could not write anything on social media that we would not say if we met them in person it would be an improvement. This board in regards to Cal is a reflection of the political climate that exists today.

Lance is exactly right. The ones on this board that run their mouth all the time about how bad the coach or the players are probably have never picked up a basketball. They are great backseat drivers but put them in the driver's seat and they have no idea what they are doing.

I don’t care what he said. He gave his opinion. What’s wrong with that? We all want the same thing. I don’t care how we get there as long as we get there. Guys finding their roles right now. That’s how you build a team. As I said before, everybody on this team has a role to play. If they venture away from their role then we will not be winning any championships. Everybody can’t play 40 minutes and average 20 and 10. Except Oscar. The rest of these guys either buy in and sacrifice or decide to get their own and we lose to another version of St Peters. As each year passes I care less and less….

I agree with you. Don't accuse him for being sensitive over criticism and then blast him for clapping back and hurting your feelings. This is the only form of "social media" that I have and I may vent on here but I honestly doubt any players come here to read these comments and if they do God help them.
