He was by himself here!!!! He was not surrounded by other playmakers which caused him to be used more than normal as well as a target. Had he stayed this year we would be better…

Saw that. Dude is so electric. No way to sugar coat how big the loss of his talent was to this offense.

We would have been better but he would have been worse. We would have looked at a stable of backs where no one was breaking out and would have jammed Wandale back there.

We weren't using him right anyway. We would have gotten maybe a quarter out of what Kentucky is getting from him.

That was actually one thing we were doing right with him. Playing RB was the only way we could get him the ball.

For the record, I like Wandale. But posts about him should be on the Tucky board. Maybe one thread that gives the stats for all the recent transfers of note.

How are all the other quitters doing?
Vedral had a pick-six and a bunch of underthrows, but they were all 100% someone else's fault.

Bad play-calling. Bad route-running. Or something.

I liked watching Wan"Dale play for the Huskers and sometimes will watch Kentucky for a minute or two just to catch him play. I think for a variety of reasons it was never going to work out for him with the Huskers. Before he enrolled at Nebraska he had been committed to Kentucky. I think once JD left it was just a matter of time when not if he would go back home. Covid or no covid. I do think if he had remained with the Huskers and happy with his role on the team that he would be a great asset to the team.

JD Spielman is the head scratcher. He was so productive when he was with the Huskers and at TCU he is an afterthought. He has 8 receptions, 125 yards and 2 TDs with 7 rushing yards this season. I think he would have more production with the Huskers.

Kade Warner (Who?). Is his daddy going to come out and say he isn't be used properly by the K-State staff? After all Kade is blowing away the fans down in Manhattan with his spectacular play. 2 receptions for 25 yards. I don't think Kade would help the Huskers or any other FBS or FCS school. He is a Division II player at best.
