Start Hickman or Nance in his place and let's see what the can do.

Warner is a warm body..no deep threat..no run after the catch. We gotta get some playmakers out there.

I recall him making a big play at Iowa last year (2 point conversion, back of the endzone, takes a big hit), when our QB actually manages to look his way and get him a catch-able ball.

Warner proved he could play last year but he's not getting any chances to prove himself this year. How frustrating is it to know that even if you are wide open, QB won't throw it to you.

Why? Neither of them have done ****. Let the young guys get a chance.
I agree on Noa and he won't even be back next year. JD and Warner will be back. Warner is the only decent blocker we have at receiver and one of the few that are competent in route running.

He's been injured and hasn't played in many games this year.

In three weeks he will be able to rest until next Fall. I hope he plays even if not 100%

Hamstring wasn't it? He has had hammy issues since he got here. Need to be a bit more assertive on his stretching regimen.

The one good thing about Wan'Dale being out is now we don't have to worry about him taking a constant pounding on inside run game vs Wisconsin's 3-4.

I'm excited to see what Frost and Co dial up this week. I'm to the point where I have ZERO expectations, just want to see my favorite team play each week.

True, just seems most likely. I'm, personally, excited to see what Hickman brings at WR. JD is also way more productive on the inside than on the outside. I wish they would do more 4 and 5 wide with JD and Wandale both playing slot receivers, JD just isn't the same when we ask him to move outside, so Wandale can play inside.

If NU wants a chance to beat Wisconsin, extending drives will increase that chance. Warner helps in that area.

Yeah that was stupid of Frost to let Wandale take the beating he has this year. The kid is not meant to play RB and take the those type of hits. Thats what his dad was so pissed at.

Doubtful. Not saying he may not end up transferring, but doubt him not playing has anything to do with it. If he does end up transfer what would the benefit be to sit and recover. He will have 9 months to recover.

Back on this nonsense, I see.

JD is a slot receiver and does much better there. He's been playing there a lot more recently anyway. It puts our best weapon in a spot where he can do the most damage.

I wonder who the bigger moron is, the person that wrote this garbage or the person that liked it.

he probably shouldn't have played in the last game. Amazingly he played well given his injury. He tried to go back in but the medical staff wouldn't let him. Wandale isn't going anywhere. I would bet money we find out in the off season that he's got a fractured distal fibula which is the same injury that Taylor Martinez played with. Ahman Green played his whole sophomore year with that injury.
