Lol decent? The hate for Wandale on this site is unreal

Its not hate.... its because several on this board look like complete idiots with their thoughts on WR before the season and can't admit they were dead wrong.

You know what all of those guys have? Elite Speed.

Tyreke Hill and De'Anthony Thomas had that speed and similar size and had nice NFL careers. Wonder how they were used in college.

2014 Tyreke Hill (OSU) 103 rush 31 rec.
2013 De'Anthony Thomas (Oregon) 96 rush 8 rec.

Sucks they were held back by rushing and blocking.

Frost has coached a Heisman winner and multiple finalists. He has put numerous guys in the NFL doing exactly what Wan'dale was recruited to do. Wan'dale himself was a Hornug finalists as a true Freshman playing for Frost. Acting like some childish comments from this kid over rides that all is just silly.
by far the biggest issue during Wan'Dale's time an NU was the fact he was clearly & obviously the only weapon we had on offense

True. If he was used only as a slot receiver we would have been a worse team.

Yes, Toure transferred here last year. Last year. I’m talking about this year and beyond.

Since then, preseason hopes for a bowl replaced by 3-9 reality. HC forced to fire 4 coaches to barely save his job. Everybody knows he’s on super thin ice, and he will be fired on Oct 1 if this fifth season resembles any of his first four. And we have a well-known player publicly stating he’s going to the NFL thanks to his decision to get away from Frost.

Perhaps you think none of that really matters to recruits. I counter with the fact that 2022 will be the worst ranked recruiting class since rankings have been around.

you said his reputation as an offensive minded coach is beyond repair. i give you an example of a fcs transfer receiver going for 900 yards against a much harder schedule that wandale went up against. last year. last year. i don't understand how much more recent i can get than last year which ended like 35 days ago for us.

your post was essentially saying no offensive player would ever transfer here, and i presented you with the most recent one, who played his way onto a NFL roster. if you want to argue beyond his offensive mind we can, but i didn't bring up toure in hopes to get in an argument about our inept special teams. i brought him up to say all is not lost when it comes to frost's offensive mind.

i recommend you take some remedial reading comprehension classes. please don't quote this with some angry post, that just clarifies my point in my original comment. good riddance man.

Decent player? He is a very good to great college player and he had an incredible year. He's definitely an NFL caliber WR.

He runs great routes, is slippery as hell and makes tough catches.

Put him on a team where he is the 3rd or 4th receiving option and I think he'll surprise some people with his production.

I bet he'll get drafted in the 4th or 5th round and find himself on a roster.

I would love to see the Chiefs take him in the fifth round. I think that offense would suit him well.

I never said no offensive player would come here. I am saying that quality of recruits/transfers we have been getting up until last year (Toure included) will not be duplicated going forward. Our 2022 recruiting ranking concurs. Why? Because after four straight losing seasons and 3-9 with supposedly his best team last season, and being clearly in danger of being fired next season, quality recruits with several quality offers will choose elsewhere.

You seem to think that despite this pathetic 3-9 year, firing assistant coaches, reducing buyout so he can be fired next year…. All of that has zero impact, and we will recruit to the same level as before. I disagree.

Uhh. He will get drafted higher than people think. Most draft sites now have him projected in rounds 1-3. I will bet he gets drafted in the late 2nd round if he performs well at the combine.

Could be a dangerous 3rd down back and specialist in the pros. don’t think he will succeed as a receiver in the NFL, but best of luck to him.
