Toss up game. Could go either way. IMO, game comes down to the trenches. WRH Oline has been playing great and could very well be the best ED has seen since Princeton. Numerous weapons in the backfield and a multi threat QB. Defense is better this year as well. Kicking game as always, solid.
ED has the preseason conference player of the year on offense and defense. Multiple weapons on offense and more passing this year than previous year. Offense is more diverse and can come at you in many looks. Defense is making enough plays to win. Special teams are very good.
WRH has big win over Clinton, ED has big win over JK. WRH lost to a good Leesville team, ED lost early at Princeton. Nothing really challenging for either since.
For me, I keep going back to the Princeton game for ED and giving up 58 points. I know that was late August and a lot of football has been played but that is still a cause of concern for me about ED. I do question their defense. WRH can exploit that.
WRH I think is the favorite and they should be. The wildcard for me is the in game adjustments that might have to be made based on what the other is doing. I also think that special teams and turnovers of course, will be key.
I dont know why and I have been wrong numerous times, but for some reason, I think ED finds a way. Dont ask me why I think that as I cant point to one thing, just a gut feeling. I dont think its a matter of homefield, just a gut feeling. I am going to say ED 27 WRH 21.
