I was wondering the same thing. I guess the show can't last forever, and will only continue as long as their strong ratings continue. I find it even more mystifying that they have announced a spin off set in the L.A. area. It seems like they can only come up with so many interesting storylines, and having to spread them between 2 groups of people will dilute both shows.Originally posted by OSUDirt:

Is this going to get old though? Every season they find a "safe" place that turns out to not be safe? Not much else you can do with a zombie apocalypse, but seems like this could lead to boredom with the show. Of course it could just be a season long version of a CSI or Law & Order where the same things happens every episode.
