this admin man...the number of things that just happen with them. oh the secret service had a rental vehicle??? just spontaneously combust? whatever, happens to everyone. but this wasn't even like 24 hours removed from nuclear energy...person is safest i suppose...being caught stealing luggage in quite the bizarre story. protip cueball...you're broad shouldered and appear to be one gigantic human being, you got a big shiny melon, and you walk around in dresses and heels....theft in broad daylight is not gonna be your strong suit.

All Secret Service vehicles are HIGHLY customized for the protection of the President, his family and others. Bulletproof glass. Puncture-proof tires. Steel that can stop a missile.
I checked this out, the 2023 budget for armored vehicles that the SS requested is 9.3 Million.

I don't know why they burned, but your post is already off the rails on the conspiracy side. Of course they aren't picking up Joe Biden in a midsize Corolla or the upgraded Explorer after Jim from Buffalo drops it off at the counter. FFS man.
It just says the SS returned the cars. They could have been for SS members to drive around. Or for support staff or whatever. Nowhere does it indicate that those vehicles transported the President.
But yes, the logical conclusion of Hertz-gate is that the president is actually not the president.

What does it mean? That there aren't enough armored government vehicles on a small island to manage the logistics of everyone associated with Biden's security detail?

So your logic is, instead of transporting the proper vehicles to be with the President and his family so that everyone was properly protected, the US Government decided to just fly Hiden there, then rent a few cars at the airport?

You see no problem with the Secret Service getting off a plane and going to the Hertz counter at the airport and renting a few vehicles and driving off with the president.

The Secret Service is there to PROTECT THE PRESIDENT AND KEY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.
If you are putting those people and the people they protect into a rented vehicle sitting in an airport garage, obviously that SEVERELY compromises the ability of the SS to protect the president and be protected themselves.

i think the lunatics are gone, but just to be clear, the secret service absolutely uses rental cars at every stop. there are literally dozens of support staff who travel with the president, along with the media who must be transported from air force one. in every instance they rent vans from rental companies to transport these people around.

They’re saying the cars were just used for transport of agents and not any protectees. But even if true that’s still weird.
Check the video - it’s only these 5 cars. None of the other cars nearby caught fire. Super odd story.
It's not weird at all. It happens at every stop the secret service makes.
Those specific cars catching fire is strange, but not that they were used by the secret service.
I’m not going to pretend I know what the SS does. I’d assume they have to move non-protectees when away from DC and it would be more efficient to rent cars.
The weird part is the 5 cars they rented all burned, no other cars caught fire, and it was all about 20 yards from the airport’s fuel storage.
