Just looking at the box scores and minutes played.

WOW!

Williamson had the least minutes of the starters....less than Bolden and Marques had more fouls. Jack White had more minutes than 3 on the starters! What?!

I was being cheeky in a post about Jones going to have 38 minutes, but he came up with only 31.

This is not the typical minutes for starters and bench at Duke -- especially a big game. Call me a homer,,,but that is the biggest thing I saw last night.

I think I need to breath in a paperbag....might hypervenilate.

Jav would of gotten more minutes as well had he not picked up 2 fouls in his first 2 minutes on the court 3 fouls in the first half. Alot of these minutes are skewed due to the score and the last 12 minutes of the game qas garabge time.

I would love to see K keep utilizing his bench al ln year but i doubt it. It's just not his system.

Zion got into early foul trouble; I want to say he had two fouls within the first 10 minutes. And of course Bolden played more garbage minutes. It will be interesting to see how K manages the team. If his plan is to run, run, run - which I think is a great idea for this group of players, then he's going to need sub semi-regularly. Never thought I would see Jack White play 30 minutes in a game. But he earned it last night. Looks like he might be our 6th man this year.

I guess we'll just disagree. You can't play 30 garbage minutes. And Bolden had 1 more foul than Williamson. I am sure that the minutes will not always be like this, but it was great to see. Williamson will get more minutes and he seemed pretty amped. I am as excited about the bench as I am about the 83 points of B/W/C

Agreed on the fouls last night affecting PT in the first half. But 5 minutes into the second half......you know....."garbage time" .....PT was up for grabs a bit.

Who backs up Jones at PG when he needs a break? Goldwire played sparingly in the second half, and he didn't have his warmups off in the first half which indicated to me he knew he wasn't going to play.

No he did not get in. I made an effort to watch his body language every time they showed the Duke bench. Yes he did jump up and down and clap a lot. To me he just didn't jump high enough or clap loud enough. Did anyone else notice this ? I think it's a sure sign of a transfer. Also I noticed some tired legs out there. Should have scored 150 if our starters had been given the proper rest. OFC
