Maybe, maybe not. They went 7-6 against the Brewers this year. I think they went 4-3 in Chicago & 3-3 in Milwaukee. I think they match up well for that series. IF they make it to the NLCS, I don’t think they can get past the Dodgers or the Phillies. The brewers will take care of them . The cubs won’t win for another 108 years.
Dodgers/Phillies winner is winning it all IMO.Maybe, maybe not. They went 7-6 against the Brewers this year. I think they went 4-3 in Chicago & 3-3 in Milwaukee. I think they match up well for that series. IF they make it to the NLCS, I don’t think they can get past the Dodgers or the Phillies.
I tend to agree with this. I’ll probably end up rooting for the AL team if the Dodgers or Phillies are repoing the NL.Dodgers/Phillies winner is winning it all IMO.
If it’s not the dodgers, I’ll be rooting for anyone in the AL that’s not Boston/New York. If those 2 could both lose tonight and be eliminated, I’d love it. But I’m sure that’s how plenty feel about the dodgers.I tend to agree with this. I’ll probably end up rooting for the AL team if the Dodgers or Phillies are repoing the NL.

Did that bounce first? Seems like a very simple thing to have a computer call balls and strikes.
No, it didn't bounce but was so clearly a ball it that it reminds me of the 1982 Penn State game where they caught the pass out of bounds but was called in by crooked umps/refs.Did that bounce first? Seems like a very simple thing to have a computer call balls and strikes.
But but but...the human element!!!Did that bounce first? Seems like a very simple thing to have a computer call balls and strikes.
I think OP posting this has more to do with the discussion of if computers should be used to call balls and strikes . Not about he thought the Cubs got favored calls.Far from the only questionable call in the game, all of which went the Padres' way other than this one pitch.
