Vrzal endorsed Herb Hand for o-line coach and said to hire him first and then the OC. Worked with Tom Herman at Texas. Could Nebraska bring Herman in as OC and either Hand or Ed Warinner as o-line coach? Would Herman and Frost get along? Hand is at UCF and Warinner is at FAU.

Vrzal also said he would do it as well $150K and then incentives for games without sacks and games rushing for more than 300 with a potential of $600K. I don't want Vrz by any means, but I like his comments on that type of contract. I'm a big fan of incentive laden contracts.
Probably not if you're trying to convince the OC that he'll have control over the offense.

I would hard pass on Herb Hand. He's one of the reasons Texas' offensive line is so putrid. He sucked bad at recruiting OL and very, very few of the ones he landed ever developed under his tutelage.

Judging by the handle ^^^ THis is the guys opinion I am probably going to listen to..as he is probably gonna be more familiar with Hand than Vrzyl...
Also noticed that Hand has an attraction to Gus Mahlzan working with him that is, as he has left jobs to work with him..multiple times including his current stint at UCF..he may not even leave UCF for an NU job anyway as funny as that sounds.

Eh, I don't know about that. He doesn't seem to be a fan of Frost and back in the day he really wanted Narduzzi. I think Vrz is just an old school dude and is just looking for a nasty team especially on the line. We aren't nasty on O.
