I noticed in the obit section of my Nebraska Alum mag that Von Sheppard passed away in April of this year. Of course I may have missed it, but I don't recall seeing anything about this on the boards and a quick search didn't turn up anything. I enjoyed watching him play, Nebraska has had some amazing wingbacks over the years and he was right up there with the best of them.

I saw that as well. Very sad, gone way too young.

I knew Von a little bit in college. We were not friends or anything, but played some pickup BB and spoke a few times. A nicer guy, you will never meet.
