*** Vols at Cats Game Thread ***

[BigRedMachineBigBlueNation]

Folks, what a freaking season. Enjoy the ride and be excited for what's in store with Pope.

It’s been a roller coaster

[BC_Wader]

Brea walking to class tomorrow:

As long as he can make it through the door

[TortElvisII]

Hopefully you get my point. Lol

I do

Perry can't guard though so he has to score to make up for it. Noah may be a player.

[pauled#1]

I just wish we could get healthy!

[nickhorvathsuxazz]

East Kentucky, mountain mamba

Mountain Mamba...take us home, glory road...

[gbl97]

Eat it Seth Greenburg.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Carr struggled but the guy is dealing with terrible back pain….he’s giving the university of Kentucky everything he has. That’s exactly what we’ve missed the last several years.

Exactly, dude is fighting. We are taped together still winning.

[true-blue1]

Huge Huge Win tonight!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of the EFFORT!!!!!!

[rick64]

[CrimsonCats_rivals]

I’m worried about Butler’s injury long-term. We have an established history at this point of not looking like the same team with him out of the lineup.

For tonight though, I’m really proud of our guys for stepping up and gutting this one out after he left the game. Having another win over a highly rated Tennessee team on the resume is huge for us as we battle all these injuries down the home stretch.

[mcwildcats04]

Man I am so pumped. Didn't look great when Butler went out and UT got up by 3 but what a rally!!!

[LmdCat]

I am glad Andrew Carr hit these free throws, but I prefer he never play and in a Kentucky uniform again unless it’s at the end of a game that is well in hand.

Tell us how you really feel.

[mrjuk]

Great win. Much needed. Goodnight all.

Night Night

[anon1751545683]

WE SWEPT ROCKY TOP!!!!!!!!!!!! DIDNT EXPECT THAT THIS YEAR BOYS

Wonder how far they move up in the polls?

They moved up 4 after getting last time.

[adam512003]

20-6 run to end the game with Butler and Robinson out. Next man after the next man showed up tonight. If we can get and stay healthy, nobody is going to want to see this team in their bracket! GBB!

[catswillwin]

I was never worried.. I knew KY would win tonight.. I was never concerned at any time during the game! That being said, my wife told me to get help, she thinks Im crazy!!!!

[nickhorvathsuxazz]

Brea walking to class tomorrow:

Except he'll have a couple of co-eds pushing the wheelbarrow

[ZenCatFan73]

Yay!! Go Cats!!

[zannmann]

Another great win and masterpiece of a coaching job by Pope. I remember when’s Barnes owned our last coach.

[OneSpeedyBoi96]

I thought we played really impressive tonight for the most part. Hell of a game from Noah, and Brea stepped up at the end. Really hoping Butler won't miss too much time, Jaxson as well.

[Kycatspaws]

Way to Go Wildcats.
Sweeping the Vols!

[Blue_2_the_bone_rivals]

Nosh and Perry are showing you what’s to come in the years ahead. They are only going to get better, there was all kinds of pressure on both and they both produced. Hats off to all of them, they came ready to play and beat Tennessees *** AGAIN!!!!!!!

Tennessee was reportedly one of the first schools to contact Noah when he decomitted from USC, along with Louisville, but he knew he wanted to come to UK.

[*CatinIL*]

Both Noah and Perry have beautiful strokes. I look forward to seeing a whole lot more of that over the next couple of years.

Agreed!

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

So after holding South Carolina to their second lowest output on offense all season, our defense held UT to their 3rd lowest.

[Lazlo7]

Sweeeep!!

Almost guarantees that the Cats see them again in the SEC tournament. 3peats are tough, just ask KC.

[gbl97]

4 of our last 7 games are against the unranked SEC teams.

[RichardCory]

Great Win!!!
1. Border State Rival
2. #5 Team in the nation wanting revenge
3. Conference Fo
4. Coming in short handed and with lingering injuries to key players
5. Losing point guard during the game
6. Two homegrown boys give great performances
7. Fought through some questionable calls and No Calls
8. Lost the lead late but kept their composer
9. Hit free throws late and rebounded late
10. Brought energy from the start!

[TortElvisII]

I would have sat Carr for Noah.

That rebounding sequence worried us all

[LmdCat]

I just wish we could get healthy!

It seems to be next man up.

[TortElvisII]

Brea hates orange.

[anon1751545683]

Tennessee was reportedly one of the first schools to contact Noah when he decomitted from USC, along with Louisville, but he knew he wanted to come to UK.

Well yeah. But he only de committed to come to UK.

[Rideordiewildcat]

Good Ole floppy top, floppy top wannabe. Floppy top wannabe.

Starting to like that song.

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Never said why it was gonna sting now did I? I just said it’s gonna sting. Butler stings, but let’s worry about that later, just enjoy beating those orange pricks

[LmdCat]

Mark M Pope, don't ask what the M stands for, is showing that he is growing into his coaching job very nicely. He can coach his butt off. It doesn't mean that he won't occasionally make some mistakes and when he does, he isn't too proud to admit his mistakes.

[true-blue1]

So after holding South Carolina to their second lowest output on offense all season, our defense held UT to their 3rd lowest.

I love this!

[RichardCory]

Noah and Perry won this game, 18 unexpected points on highly efficient shooting

Loved that assist between the two

[*Fox2Monk*]

I’m worried about Butler’s injury long-term. We have an established history at this point of not looking like the same team with him out of the lineup.

For tonight though, I’m really proud of our guys for stepping up and gutting this one out after he left the game. Having another win over a highly rated Tennessee team on the resume is huge for us as we battle all these injuries down the home stretch.

They said he was good for the long term before tonight so hopefully it just aggravated the pain and he will be okay after some rest.

[hotelblue]

we don’t win without the whole cast. noah, almanor, perry all got huge plays. but we don’t win by double figures or maybe at all if not for those two 3’s by brea. those were ridiculous. we couldn’t even get the ball inside the arc and he said…so what?

[RichardCory]

Sweeping the trolls out? lol

[Rideordiewildcat]

I had work to do but starting drinking after 5 mins in. I'm so pumped right now!!!
