I'm an old 5'8" guy, so take this for what it's worth - why don't the Huskers use the short, quick set more? I haven’t seen anyone capable of stopping it.

Hard to complain about NU volleyball, but curious.

Condition has to be just right. Setter needs to be right at the net for starters. Hitters are reading defenders as they're going to their spot. The quick set doesn't really allow that.

But you are correct. Haven't seen it much lately.

Anyone else have info or thoughts chime in please

The quick is the hardest set, so takes time. Plus Stivrins likes to rollout to RS kills
