NU Football = NU Volleyball. 5 time National Champions.
Not sure what this next recruiting class looks like, but I would think it would be top 5.
No way can any coach recruit to NU. It is too cold here and no one would ever want to come here. Sorry, i know nothing about VB or where we recruit from but I felt this thread needed to fit it in with our other recruiting threads.
Kelly Hunter was a three year starter, 2 time all-american, and a 2 time National Championship setter. Replacing her will be a huge challenge for the coaching staff. She was one of the greatest setters in Nebraska history.
The Florida coach said Kelly was the best setter in the country and the best player on the court last night.

She was consistently one of if not our best player this year.
If Atherton is the heir apparent at setter, she will have to exponentially improve for us to be close to the 2017 team. Hoping she can and does.
You have very unrealistic expectations. They should be good, but we're losing a couple of very important pieces to this team.
They said that last year after we lost the Rolfzen twins and Justine Wong-Orantes. Ladies will be just fine.
One of the 4 recruits who signed for 2018 is Nicklin Hames. She is from Knoxville, TN & is considered the top setter & 4th overall recruit in the country. She was the Tennessee state tournament mvp 4 times. Nebraska volleyball doesn't rebuild, they reload.

I am well aware that Nebraska reloads in volleyball and has a talented recruiting class coming in. Reloading and "replacing" a player the caliber of Kelly Hunter will be a challenge. However, I am sure Coach Cook and his staff will do a phenomenal job preparing the team for 2018.
