I was in the arena with PSU fans. They were shocked at how we self destructed and said we were the better team just couldn't keep killing ourselves.

I know you were there and I told you I will be there in KC in 2025.

If Nebraska was ultimately the better team they would have won and I hate typing that.

We can agree to disagree and that is ok.

Sounds like they're fans we're being polite.

I think everybody was shocked that Nebraska self destructed after being up 2-0 and 22-16 in the 4th set. Nebraska was the better team in sets 1 & 2, Penn State was the better team in set 3, 4 and most importantly set 5.

Their fans were actually very nice. Penn St fans in general are jack wagons, but the experience at the VB game was awesome. Louisville fans were great, PSU fans were great, Pitt fans were just weird curmudgeon types and not very many of them.

It's ridiculous. She plays way over her head against us. Twice. And our team has no clue how to stop her despite the fact that they played against her in practice every day last year.

Fun fact: Jerevicious was the ONLY player who didn't get to play in the Memorial Stadium game last year. Cook just forgot about her. Let that sink in....

Actually both Caroline and Kennedi Orr didn't play in the stadium match.

Cook was about to put Caroline in and Jalen told him to save her redshirt, as her major will require 5 years.

As for the second match I don't think PSU was the better team, I think they wanted it more.

A redshirt should probably be discussed before a match, not during, and the player should not be expecting to play.

I'm hardly the one with the most knowledge on this topic, but I'd say that neither Caffey or Akana had a huge role in Texas' nattys the last two years. I do think if Jurevicius was still on Nebaska's roster we'd have won this year because A) PSU wouldnt' have had her to go wild against us, and B) maybe she'd have been ready to step in when Beason started sucking 2nd half of the season. Maybe that's harsh.

PSU wins volleyball NC. Their wrestling team is going to win another NC. Football has a (long) shot at winning a third. This really sucks…

Our biggest problem this year was Beason struggling during the last month. Jurevicius would have been her backup, so if she's on our side and not PSU, maybe?

I think it’s fair to say as Merritt went so did the Huskers. It was nice to see Landfair contribute later in the season but it wasn’t what Beasons production.

I think it’s fair to say as Merritt went so did the Huskers. It was nice to see Landfair contribute later in the season but it wasn’t what Beasons production.

I'm not sure the plan for opposite hitter next year. Is it Pierce? Landfair is back for another year at outside, and Murray will play six rotations. Setter is set. Libero will be either Choboy or Mauch with the other as the DS. And both Allick and Jackson are back in the middle.

At least I hope everybody listed is back.
