Maybe the best hitting prospect in a decade?

I’m having a hard time with this one. Seems like his dad just started playing.

I used to have a buddy that played for the Expos and would visit with him outside the locker room after games. I remember Vlad Jr crying crocodile tears because he couldn’t have more ice cream.

The circle of life spins fast.

Best in a decade? Trout didn't debut until 2011... and acuna last year. I'd take both of them over vlad jr.

He received MLB Pipelines’s first ever 80 as a hitter, I think. I’m sure some guys have had a little more all around game than him, but his hit tool is about as high as it gets.

He might underwhelm at the Show though. Through no fault of his own, but that Toronto lineup is awful right now.

He's a clone of his dad with more power. There isn't a pitch that he cant barrel up and drive. I don't think it's a stretch to say that he's the best hitting prospect we've seen in a long time

Sucks going to an MLB game and realizing there's not a player on either roster older than me... they need to allow steroids again so more guys can play into their 40s.

A lot of juniors in the big leagues right now whose dads I vividly remember playing not that long ago. Vlad, Fernando Tatis, Delino DeShields, etc.

Shame all three are wasted on clubs that won't win a WS anytime soon.

Trout just signed an enormous extension to stay in LA until he’s likely past his prime. That was his choice, not like he’s stuck in LA against his will.

The Braves have a talented young roster and they won the NL East last year. They need more pitching but if they find that it wouldn’t shock me to see them in the WS in the next few years.

The Blue Jays suck but I’m sure if Vlad junior is as good as his dad, he’ll eventually leave Canada just like his dad did.

I still stand by my point.Winning the NL East last year isn't much to brag about. You stick the Angels and Blue Jays in that divison last year and they are contenders as well.

The Braves future looks pretty bright. The core of that team is going to be together for a while, especially after they railroaded Acuna and Albies.

Thatll probably be the most exciting division race of the season. You could make a case for 4 different teams winning it.
