Hey

Coming to West Virginia for the first time. I am trying to decided if I should buy tickets through UT or through WV or another site? Any advise?

Where do they usually put the visiting team visitors?

Thanks

Lol. Love it.
Like most schools WVU tries to keep the visitor tickets together but I do believe there is another small section in addition to the primary one you will see. Tickets may be limited on the WVU side so the secondary market may be your best bet.

...all that said, opposing fans usually are in the southeast corner of the stadium....right over where the visiting team comes out of the locker room....

Aren't those front seven spots where ol' Chicken Frank Beamer said we tried to plant his family?

Scared to come to Morgantown when he coached and played at "Deliverance Tech"? Nothin' but player slappin', pedophile QB protectin', booger eatin', lyin' dolt.

He's lucky my Grandma taught me to not say anything about someone unless it was the truth.

First, there really is not a bad seat at Mountaineer Field.

Second, visiting team tickets are generally in Sections 101, 201, and 202 right over the visiting team's entrance tunnel.

Finally, I did a quick search on some third party ticket sites and noted that there are some 50-yard line tickets in 125 and 126 that are going for less than the ticket holder's price of ticket if you include the donation they have to make for the right to pay for the ticket. Looks like right around $200 - $ 225 each - quite reasonable if you figure you may likely never make a return trip. You would be around some friendly old gold and blue clad fans and don't forget to make the rounds in the Blue Lot for a taste of 'shine before the game.

Have a great trip and experience.

This one's late in the season so bring a good blanket too! Day before Okla in late Nov last year was a balmy 70 someodd degrees...gameday was wind, rain (sideways), snow, you name it! Also be aware stadium has new policy everything coming in must be in a clear bag and for the ladies no large purses etc. And as HammEERman suggest ,if you drink, try some of the 'shine!
You'll have a great time no matter the seats...enjoy!
