Hey guys,

Looking forward to visiting your campus next weekend. Any idea what hotel the visiting team stays at? Also any suggestions on a place to grab some brunch on Saturday morning? Thanks.

I’ve often seen team busses at the Embassy Suites on Centennial Ave in Piscataway. Just up River Road from the stadium.

the game is at noon so Saturday morning you should just roam around the tailgate lots...most of us are friendly and if you say hi we'll invite you in.

if you meant Sunday brunch.....then Old Man Rafferty's is your best bet, it's located in downtown New Brunswick. If you want to experience an authentic NJ diner...the Edison diner or the Skylark diner, both on Route 1 are good choices.

One of the great things with our tailgates that fans from places like PSU and what used to be UConn miss. If opposing fans are here and are friendly- even if there is good natured ball busting...Almost every tailgate will enjoy their company. It is usually only the drunk obnoxious visiting fans that get the Dirty Jersey welcome.
Enjoy yourself while here...bust on our balls and rib us if you want and enjoy when we do the same back. Enjoy a few beers and food with us as you do so...

But teams could stay just about anywhere. Some schools like to stay a little further away. With 150,000 hotel rooms within an hour of campus, there are plenty of options.

If you are looking for an authentic NJ Burger Joint that looks like it is run by ex con's I highly recommend the White Rose System in Highland Park/Edison. Get the Cali with cheese, fries and a coke. Warning only one burger per visit unless you have clearance from your cardiologist or you have a stomach made of Iron! Seriously the burgers are awesome in moderation. Had a friend who learned the hard way you don't mess with the system! LOL!

Make sure to have a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich at the tailgates.
Pork Roll.....food of the NJ gods..........

Our tailgate has a rule that we welcome any fans from the opposing team, except State F N Penn.

I have been to plenty of road games, and I have never felt more welcome than I did at Penn State. By far the nicest people I've experienced. My friends and I were invited to join at keast 5 different tailgates and we didn't pay for a drink at the bars afterwards. They were great to us.

Whichever it is, I hope you are a heavy smoker and if you’re staying there Friday night please light a cigarette in the hallway near the fire sprinklers at 2 am thanks
