It is concerning. I usually trust Mitchell in those situations but he was missing those one and ones if not for the lane violations.
There was a point when we got up 10 and Allen comes back and hits 3 in a row. Before that he'd only hit 1. Hard to miss though when you're wide open. Had we played defense there in that stretch, the outcome could have been way different. We were rolling on offense. Not many times do you see a team hit 17 threes and lose. Just like ISU hit 18 and beat Kansas on the road. Good thing is we were all playing well today. Offensively, that is.

VT hit 17 three pointers today and still lost! Not many teams could have withstood that shooting barrage today and still win. Not thrilled with the lack of 3 point defense but I'll happily take the win.

Va Tech was undersized and the Cards 4/5 men had nobody to match up with. Pitino chose to stick with the conventional line-up instead of going small with them and I'm glad he did. Cards got 14 offensive rebounds and took care of the ball.
If saying he needs to learn to dribble is ripping him i am guilty.
So spin it how you wish, he is not good enough or in good enough shape to handle 36 minutes a game amd spalding needs more than 9 minutes a game.

There is no way NBA Adel deserves or even performs good enough to play 36 minutes plus a game. Doing so hurts us as a team because his shots are flat after so many minutes and his defense is a few steps slow because after 36 minutes he is spent.
If we desire to go past the forat weekend pitino needs to play his bench to rest them.
If saying that makes me a bad fan so be it.
We cant play our staters 35 minutes and expect to make a long run. Will not happen.

We have a very big difference in there.
Spalding deserves more than 9 minutes a game.
He is the coach, but if he keeps it up we will be at the spring football game ready for football.
Sorry Beas Johnson was playing too well. The Cards got 21 & 13 out of the PF spot combined and it appears Pitino is playing Spalding at the PF spot only.
Spalding has been playing poorly today was a good game for him and hopefully he'll build off it. I suspect he'll be getting closer to 15-20 min @ UNC.

He has played both johnson amd spalding together. He is so cryptic in his rotations who knows what is coming wednesday.
My hope is that he uses his bench and takes advantage of our inside advantage. UNC loves to run so this game will be interesting.
Just goes to show that somebody is not even watching the games. It's almost been a straight sub every time Johnson for Spaulding, spaulding for JJ.
