Anyone planning a trip to the VT game?

Seems like the hotels in Blacksburg are all locked up, where's the next best spot to stay at? What are everyone's plans? Salem/Roanoke?

I'm staying in Roanoke. Booked it 6 months ago, even back then the Blacksburg hotels were all booked up.

We are staying in Radford, 20 minutes away. Booked in back in January, as @dfr1966 said above, Blacksburg hotels were already sold out.

I got an Airbnb about 20 Minutes away..

Keep looking every day, there's always cancellations. Blacksburg is obviously the preference, then Christiansburg

There’s always the Carpetbagger Inn.

Whatever you do, despite it being a lovely place, avoid the Hotel California.

Booked two nights at Hyatt Place Roanoke.
