Just came to say Faaaar Bennett, as I say to this day his run to the ship was the luckiest shiz I have ever seen. It was the reverse UK. Every bad break and call we have ever gotten he had in one run. They were flat beat two games in that tournament and Made an all time luckiest play to advance when Diakite or whatever got the ball from half court and hit that turnaround.
Please don't anyone ever mention Bennett as a candidate for UK anymore.

I would like to say that Cal is better then Bennett at a lot, we would have canned him many years before now if he was here instead of Cal.

I wouldn’t get rid of Cal for Bennett but I certainly do not like Cal’s system. In a dream scenario, I’d love to have had some of Jay Wright’S teams with our resources here.

You cant score 50 points a game and expect to hold tourney teams to 49. Their title was one of the luckiest flukiest ever and everyone knows it.

I don’t really give a crap about Bennett. I also don’t see how the comparison is the same regarding losing guys for a one and done tourney versus losing 16 games. They were a four seed anyway. Not a one or a two.
Still only three active coaches with multiple NCAA championships and unfortunately, our guy has the same as Bennett.
2018 incredibly embarrassing. 2021 as a four seed is not really a high seed.

But by all means, let's give him more excuses than we give our own coach. Because that's where some in this fanbase are at: making excuses for other coaches that we'd never afford Cal.
I have never pined for Bennett nor do I value his style. As for Cal, outside of this year, this fan base has been defenders of this guy and system. You act like he has it so bad.
I never wanted Bennett here. His style is boring and it has a lot less room for error. Scoring in the 50's and 60's forces your defense to have to be on every game and relies on your offense to be very efficient.
We couldn't win a single game that we scored below 70 in. We also lost 6 one possession games because we had no room for error. With the players we get there's no reason we should be in rock fights and trying to hang on to victories.
