I think Shrita Parker is slowly becoming the player we all thought she would be. Loved the way shes looked these last few games.

Two nice back to back efforts. I have no idea how good either Tulane or Virginia are but will certainly take the W's. After the womens soccer this was purely icing on the cake against UVA.

Quite an amazing coincidence that both of these RU teams played - and beat UVa within an hour or so of each other. What a tremendous achievement by #RFutbol, but I am also very proud of our wbball team, who are hopefully righting the ship and ready for a great season!

Great! My wish this morning has come true! Rutgers - 2, UVa - 0 on the day. Great day for RU women's sports. Hopefully, the women's bball team has corrected the problems that were exposed during losses to the two mid-majors (i.e., Big East) teams.

Virginia was #33 in the coaches' poll this week and a 7-9 team in the ACC this year. I couldn't find an ACC preseason poll to know how much better they were expected to be coming into the season.

Nice win! Let's hope the positive momentum keeps rolling!

We beat a good team and held together every time Virginia cut into our lead or took the lead. I liked our defense although it seemed that Virginia missed several easy chippies. Our post defenders were getting beat and committed too many fouls but I like how Rachel adjusted and let the player go past her, then swat the ball away....her blocks are so imposing. Ariel played very well again while the freshmen learned a few difficult lessons.

I am not sure why Tyler hasn't been taking more shots or driving the lane but have to think that she isn't feeling one hundred percent. We made some nice plays and passes inside but many were wasted away; I like how Briyona is running the point and think she should take more shots. Shrita looked good and hit some nice threes.

Kahleah is looking great!

There is room for improvement and while we could have won easily with less turnovers we should feel fortunate that Virginia missed all of those free throws.

I was happy to be able to watch the games; good video quality and a nice announcer who wasn't biased. Clueless at times but not annoying. Let's sweep this thing tomorrow.
