Anyone find it odd that the Vikings don’t go for field goal there instead of going for it on 4th down? Am I missing something? They now have a 5 pt lead with 7 minutes to go. Why not kick field goal and extend the lead to 8?

Because if they go for it and fail then two safeties could tie it.

After the game I saw that their Win Probability going for it was like 98% and like 97.5% if they attempted the field goal.
That obviously accounts for a high probability of converting the 4th down, which basically would have ended the game.
