OP, I'm going to take a second and send you another post of praise.

I watched the video a few times. It is masterfully done. Excellent job.

Yep - probably my favorite part of the video. Love the confidence Drew showed in that move!

Re: VIDEO: Final Four Hype Video

I do some video editing but nothing like what the OP does. Saying that, I know how much time it takes to pull even the most basic videos off. Something of this quality and professionalism had to take some time. Greatly appreciate it. Well done. Hopefully the team will see it soon.

I appreciate that. It's my job and my passion...throw UK basketball into the mix and I'm good to go. Just a couple long nights of caffeine and film study.

Dude...you gonna be famous! Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have quite a few industry awards. Got my degree from WKU in TV, and took a class at Postmasters in Nashville. Never had skills like you though.

Requesting OP to make a video for every year...

I love the links from the past! And that was some excellent vision to put together the Wall/Harrison move!!

CatPhight: I'm actually using Premiere at the moment. I stuck with FCP7 as long as I could because X is garbage. Avid is too clunky and dated for my taste.

I actually thought of Wall doing that move in the Indiana game as soon as I saw Drew do it in the WVU game. That was my gold stash for sure.

Awesome first post. This vid rocked and I'm even more excited to be going to Indy, if that's possible. Keep them coming, fantastic job and vision.

Archie Goodwin acted like he had a gun to his head forcing him to say "I do believe"
I have always got the impression that won't stay part of the family of former UK players.

Awesome work, OP. I was going to make a video this week--it's a hobby of mine--but it's been so long since I did and I ran into a freight train of a work week, so I was afraid I didn't have enough time. How long did this take you? I might still try to pull one off if we make it to the championship game, God willing... Even if I never post it, I want to make something to commemorate this awesome year.

OP - my heart rose up into my throat and tears filled my eyes with that one. I, too, am glad you included "that shot" - it's clear what you were saying with it.

Amazing work, my friend - look forward to more.

songsungblue: Took me two 15 hour days of collection and edit. Sunday and Monday. Go for it! Let me know if I can help. I may not have time to do a follow up. Just got slammed with my Chesney edits..he comes first. Ha. This was purely a passion project, but I have received an odd cold shoulder from the people at UK's official sports video group and almost all other official UK affiliates. Little less motivated to follow up now. Still a possibility though.

So, Z, will we see a Part 2 if we bring home the championship? Inquiring minds want to know.

Just really incredible work. Using the old TV was a brilliant way to bring in the old footage. Subbed to your YouTube Channel.

Gotcha. If we get there, I hope seeing the nets get cut down provides that extra little motivation to get you going : )
