Figured they deserved their own thread because I think this group might have a special run in them this year just like the tourney squad did.

Also Pardon/Law are two of my fav. NU bball players/people of the post Shurna era.

Agree. Vic is playing like an all big 10 candidate. Love watching him. Dererk gives 100% and has improved so much at the FT line.

Still waiting on Taylor to find himself in this offense. I'm hopeful that there is still more to be seen from him as I think he could be the third piece of the puzzle.

So many new pieces to the puzzle this year. It's pretty exciting. Hope that they can build enough chemistry before the B1G season starts.

JA has a part to play if/when he gets healthy.. but we will win or lose based on Pardon/Law this year.
Disagree. Although Ash will not be the other contributor alone. I see Turner, Taylor, Benson helping out significantly. Benson outperformed Dererk last game. Nance, Gaines,Greer and Falzon will get minutes based on performance. All four have upsides, just not at the level of our top guys. Sweet Sixteen for sure.

I thought that what Taylor and Turner did in the offense Friday was a step up from previous games. How they moved. What they did with ball. What they did in combination with other teammates.

They both started...that may continue.

I also like Ash.

And I get they weren't playing Kentucky, but Turner and Ash played with a different understanding, different sensibility.

Agreed! I have been taking flack on here for years, especially from Walkerfan. Now it is my turn to shine as Jordan Ash will guide and guard us to the sweet sixteen.
