Tomorrow is Veterans Day Let us not forget the sacrifice made by brave men and women
Who paid the ultimate price for our freedom
If you see a serviceman or woman Thank them
For their service. My Father was in US Army 30
Years landed on D-Day served as a Staff Judge Advocate Prosecutor at Nuremberg helped to
Send Nazi War criminals to the gallows
After retirement he officiated at over 5000
Military funerals playing Taps
So proud of him Rest In Peace for all veterans

God Bless all that served our great nation. My father served in the Korean War. He was in the Marines and ask for the Marine Emblem to be placed on headstone, which I did. My uncle served in the Army during the Vietnam War. I graduated HS in 1974 just as we were pulling out of Vietnam. My biggest regret in life is not enlisting in the Marines out of HS.

My dad is a vet - was in the Navy. More or less ignores that he was ever in the Navy unless pressed about it. Never takes advantage of vet discounts and freebies. Just blows my mind, I’ll never understand.

Thank you Veterans for being braver than I ever could be. Your sacrifice are why we’re the best nation in the world. My grandpa served in Korea, he passed a few years ago. Great man
You might be surprised at what you would or would not do if a situation arose. Most trained soldiers handle it pretty well.

God bless all our veterans. Kentucky and Tennessee played a great role in our young nation. Most notably in the battle of New Orleans. Later on in the Civil War our states were caught up in the middle of dynamic forces for control of our nation. War with Spain, 2 world wars. 2 wars in Asia, and finally our struggles in the middle east. I doubt a family in our 2 states have not been affected in some way by our nations great struggles.

Army Aug 1976-July 1997. Gulf war vet (me in my Avatar in the Gulf). Thanks for all of the post.

I would not change a thing if I had it to do over. With all of her faults. she is still the greatest country ever formed.
