Sorry. Didn't mean to repost. Found it pretty interesting/compelling though.
The Thomas case is the most blatant open and shut case of someone who should have been made ineligible and would have been anywhere but Duke or UNCheat.
Since the burden of proof was established in the Derrick Rose case via the testing agency sending a letter to DR asking him to explain the situation, I always "wondered" why the NCAA didn't do the same to LT.
Would have been an incredibly simple matter. LT would either respond and explain it all away or if he ignored it then NCAA would have "no choice" but to find him ineligible and vacate every game he played in after the impermissible benefit just like they did with DR.

I believe the NCAA talked to Duke about cooperating, Duke said they would, and that was the last anyone heard about the case. The store owner clammed up (shocker), Thomas refused to talk, and voila Duke was off the hook.
Not similar in the slightest. One was regarding a Duke player, and the other one wasn't.
I think Rose did the same thing but the ncaa didnt care if Rose didnt talk to em they slammed Memphis.
The worst thing IMO was that Rose refused to talk to the NCAA, and so the NCAA decided all facts against him based upon his refusal. They then ruled him ineligible and vacated all of Memphis' wins, including the Final Four. The Thomas refuses to talk and the NCAA says they can't investigate any further because no one will talk. What about deciding facts against the person who won't cooperate and ruling Thomas ineligible? If it wasn't Dook that is what would have happened.
Interesting read but that and UNC's imaginary classes only solidifies that both are untouchable.
It's absolutely astonishing how far Fluke fans have their collective heads buried in the sand and in K's ***, simultaneously. I swear, Fluke fans think that Fluke/K can do no wrong. I really have never witnessed anything quite like it in my lifetime. It's excuse after excuse with them. The guy gets so many passes on everything he does. It's like the MSM had brainwashed these people's minds or something. To them, they don't receive biased officiating and/or biased tourney seeding either. It's quite hilarious, considering everyone else in the world can see it, but them. Don't believe me?! Spark up a convo about the Fluke double standard and/or the Fluke hypocrisy with one and find out for yourself. Amazing stuff, I tell ya.
