I love the "if you run tentative you get hurt" bit...you know why coaches started that line? Because they want their players to run as fast as they can all the time...not because they think their players will get hurt.

The more I watch Adrian the more I think his true issue is that he is trying to hard to play the style of game that he shouldn’t be playing... I think he is trying too hard to be a pro QB, meaning pass first run second, that is causing him to try and stay back longer than he should trying to look for an open receiver. He needs to just go back to his style, he can do both he can run and he can pass, but he is more dangerous when he shows he is willing to run... that’s just my thoughts, I think he is trying to put too much on the tapes trying to show he is a pass first QB, but by him doing that he is just hurting his pro potential

1000% agree..I think this whole struggle is fueled by pro aspirations(heisman talk). He is trying to prove a point/stay healthy by playing "safe" and still got hurt. Hopefully he comes back from injury with a gunslinger mentality..take off..let it rip.
