There are ways to beat drug tests . I guess the athletic community hasn’t developed something to beat covid test
You mean screwed up and got covid or broke protocols ? I would think someone needs to test positive for a team to be disqualified
That was before the tourney started and those teams went into the NIT.
This doesn't have to be covid. Perhaps some of team left bubble last night and broke rules?
Who knows.
If Not Covid make be good to say so as to not freak folks out. ?

Odd, that you only need 5 players to play. But game was no contest. Sounds more like protocol was broken. If players are in own room, teams have entire floors, player contact to others very limited & tracked, how do you not have 5 kids that can play?
This will be interesting . If vcu kids did something that makes schooo look bad, the coach isn’t safe
Multiple positive tests in their party in the last couple days. Not sure who.
Teams were on deck prior to the first tip off. Once the first game was started it is a pass for the healthy team. Teams are allowed to play with just 5 eligible players. They can also bow out if they believe the have no shot.
According to VCU message boards they had a positive test Wednesday and more Friday and today. Don’t know how accurate that info is
Per Matt Nordlander: VCU had a positive on Wednesday. A positive on Friday and another today. Health officials thought spread risk was too dangerous to play.
Heard the same- positive We’d and more either today or Friday. If it were a single case on Wed, they most likely play.
