They did have a pretty good resume but in hindsight it is a little odd that the 20th ranked RPI conference got two teams in.

The home run he made the comment on was to right field almost to the round plaza. I assume he saw the Hump when he got to The Dude (if he’s isn’t doing the broadcast remotely) and has worse spatial awareness than my wife. Just piss poor research and trying to show his “knowledge” when he was clearly unprepared. He should have known from the 2:00 game that there’s not a big *** round building behind the right field seats.

Campbell came into the game tonight 0-3 against P5 teams, and none of those games were particularly close. VCU has been on a big 22 game win streak, but half of those wins are against 200+ RPI teams.

If we screw around tomorrow and make errors, walk people, etc. VCU can beat us. But if we play clean baseball this weekend we will be fine. The talent/depth gap between us and the rest of this regional is just too big unless we screw it up.
