Ugh. Right-handed pitcher and CDM starts EKJr at DH. Makes zero baseball sense when you have left-handed DHs available. I hope he hits the dang ball.

Guys (minus Munroe) not showing patience at the plate. EKJr first pitch, soft bouncer a bit up the middle - out at first. Ugh.

I guess Mac has to let him sink or swim, idk
I do wish he'd load it up with left handers.

Top 5 and our guys still not being very patient at the patient. Again, Munroe is the sole exception so far. Forbes has thrown about 25 more pitches than the VaTech pitcher. The HR in the first off of Forbes was a massive hit. They have hit the ball harder than our guys.

Second 2-run HR by the same dude. Game over I am afraid because our guys are not doing much at the plate.

Thru 7. With 2 outs. VaTech 5 - Cards 0. Tech hitting the ball hard. Cards get a hit here and there but can’t out anything together. Just happens sometimes. DH is now 0-3 BTW. Switching over the WBB.

Game 1 loss. Give’em credit - they fought until the end and lost 4-5. But, man, bases loaded with 1 out and couldn’t get another run across. Pike 0-5 today.

Gonna be a tough series to win … Tech’s pitching ERA is almost identical to UofL’s, and they have two very good starting pitchers in Renfrow and Marciano.

The scouting report is out for our hitters. Get ahead in the count and make them chase bad pitches...which they will. I'm not that opposed to guys jumping on the first pitch, but it's a double edged sword. Gotta get a great swing on that first pitch or be more disciplined behind in the count.

Somebody needs to spark the lineup. Look for changes today..

Not sure if Marciano will go today or tomorrow for them, but opponents are batting .182 against him so far this year. If he’s on, hits will be at a premium.

Need to make a switch at DH. King is just not getting it done at .180 and something about his "body language" just isn't right. That's just me but watching him, something seems off. Also, it cost us a run the last time he did get on because he couldn't run.

I saw Mac yesterday speaking about the 2 out 2 strike pitch dude hit in the first inning to their best hitter. He obviously wasn't happy about that, but not happy with who?

Forbes for not hitting a location or his pitching coach for calling it on a day when Patrick's stuff including his slider were electric?

In the end,it's Mac's team and he needs to nip whatever it is that is wrong with this team. If it's centered around King Jr,so be it. Play the best 9 and let the chips fall where they may. He's on record saying he didn't think King was coming back and he's got guys sitting who should be getting swings.
