3 shots in his first minute on the floor. Makes me think someone is trying too hard to prove something.

Don’t know why we have to bash one player to build another one up. They’re not the same player. We don’t want them to be. Washington is our best inside scorer.

Bash? Not even close. Vanderbilt can challenge people on defense better and has a higher motor. We need them both.

Give him a few games. He’s being thrown into the mix midseason and has had a week to figure out the college game. It Washington a while to figure things out

I've seen enough Richards to last me a lifetime .
Yes.

And people think it will somehow be beneficial if dude returns for next season. Please, please bolt for the league. This dude just doesn't have it upstairs and never will. He will never start in the league and the only thing he will be featured in is "Shaqt'n a Fool."

Oh man, when I saw the thread title I thought the OP might be talking about his favorite team getting beat by UT tonight

You're awful.

Why are you insulting the kid's intelligence? Do you know him personally? Big men develop slower than little guys. I remember two guys named Jamaal Magloire and Nazr Mohammed who weren't world beaters as freshmen. They turned out fine.

UK fans like you who offer nothing but bitching, crying, hand wringing and player bashing are the worst part of this fanbase.

Yeah because a freshmen never gets better after year one. The dumbest comments are always those who think a freshmen Big never gets better. Especially when UK has had MANY freshmen bigs who got better the next year and who were WAY better as Srs. Good lord I thought the microwave train of thought was just with young kids but now I see it has affected adults as well

People act as if this was some sort of unknown. He's not a good shooter, but he does a lot of other things. He's still adjusting to the college game though so lets cut him some slack.
I was surprised because I thought I had read on here and remembered hid being a decent shooter. He may be our best rebounder. I think going forward he will see more time in the post. If Knox can keep making shots, rebound better and play defense, along with Washington’s improvement we can finish the year on a high note.

I can go with "not a good shooter" but what we are seeing is a bad shooter. I have to hope that is just a result of being off so long.

My recollection was that was baseless fake news used for the daily Diallo two minute hate.

Horrible take. Jesus these kids get destroyed if they perform well enough to leave after a year, and get destroyed if they need time to grow as a player.
You did Richards’s has played ball for like 4 years right?
Damn what an awful post.

It's been said, "only has played 20 minutes" this year. So, perhaps, he was nervous....the nerves can make shots look bad.
His attitude and hard play still showed through.

Meh, Cauley-Stein was a project also. I think Richards is crucial for a rum next season.

Richards will come around at some point, but his reactions are just a little slower than everybody else on the court right now.
