I think Im going to go watch Vandy's next game at the CWS. I have a few words for that SOB whistling the entire game. It makes watching their games unbearable.

I’m heading to the elimination game on Monday. I’m pulling for Arizona, for a good buddy of mine. I’m just not sure I want to sit through 9 innings of the whistler on Monday… ehhhhhh

it is annoying on TV...can't imagine how annoying in person. The guy that's doing it sits right behind home.....it is the old skinny guy. I'm surprised those around him have not escorted him out!

I also thought he was kicked out a couple of years ago or to cease and desist.

What kind of idiot whistles constantly like that anyway? Short random cheers throughout a game is one thing but good grief put an end to that ****. Ridiculous

I believe there was talk about doing something. Iirc, Vanderbilt kinda stepped in and said it's a Vanderbilt thing AND tradition.

Imagine if someone said no Goooo Biiiiiiiig Reeeddddddd.....Go Big Red!! Or FSU couldn't continually do the tomahawk chop or OU couldn't continually play boomer sooner.

I realize they're different but just saying.

Glad it's not as loud on TV as it seemed 2 years ago. I've actually been able to filter it as white noise in my mind.

But yes I wouldn't want to be sitting in his section for sure as a non Vanderbilt fan

Sorry to hijack this thread. But has anyone scalped down there? I'm not even trying to, but I'm pretty sure all the tickets are digital now. How does scalping even work that way?

Cool. I was down there Saturday and there was a guy asking if we needed tickets. Just wasn't sure, like would you pay him via PayPal /Venmo or cash? And then they transfer them digitally?

I don't think cash or venmo is going to work. It's run through ticketmaster so probably paypal or credit card

You have to have a Ticketmasters or NCAA account to be able to transfer tickets.. I have family friends that have tickets and no transfer of money is done but I’ll pay them cash after words..

Yeah that game will haunt their pitcher and shortstop for a long time. Iirc, all with 2 outs
