It’s probably because Van is failing at life and frustrated. Most malcontents and losers throw rocks at the winners in life. It’s been going on since the days of Adam and Eve. There’s even political organizations that support these tactics. Communism, socialism and liberalism
In reality, it is. With that said, the perception will be used as ammo like last time and will influence prospects. I hate it as much as anyone, but cancel culture is alive and thriving.

The ignorance that social media has created astounds me. People will see Van’s post and believe it 100% without any context or doing any further research. If the racist claims against Dabo and Clemson are true, why doesn’t Van or others come forward with actual facts and details of these supposed racist actions?

If it were me repping closely in this business like Dabo has to, simple PR:
“It’s been brought to my attention a video created by Mark Taylor displaying deplorable and unacceptable commentary. We have worked with Mark in the past around the development of a few high school student athletes here at Clemson. None of that was ever on display for the handful of interactions we’ve had together. It’s nothing we will tolerate here or anywhere for that matter and we’ll be moving on from our working relationship.”

I’d call that guy out on Twitter but he blocked me the last time he went on a rant about Dabo and I called him out.
Van Smith is throwing a lot of shade toward Danny Pearman for a guy who was recruited to Clemson by……..Danny Pearman. Smith leaving school early didn’t make a lot of sense to me at the time….he certainly seems to not be a fan these days. And LOL at the “no players like us anymore” narrative.

Like us all, Dabo has his faults, perhaps pride and stubbornness, but racism is the farthest description of him. Totally unfair
