To me the turning point of the game was the non call on the Murray elbow to Harper's face. Would have put Murray in early foul trouble. And the fact that the bozos actually watched the replay and still didnt have the balls to make the call because, well, you cant call that on one the league's star players.

Bo Borowski is the new Teddy Valentine....always looking to be the center of attention, with his inept foul calls.

Need someone to make videos of bad calls with captions after every RU game … where’s the foul … no call … etc … I am not a basketball expert but would be great to have rival like videos of bad calls and non-calls. Circle the player fouled. Arrows. Question marks. Must be some YouTubers out there.

in THAT MOMENT paul did nothing. Actual he did the opposite - he kept his mouth shut, put is hands up, and didn’t even look at the guy.

a ref can’t T up paul in THAT MOMENT if he was mouthy 5 minutes before that?!?? Wtf are you talking about.
He can't?
I agree PM did nothing to deserve it, but the ref sure AF called it.
You'd be the guy that tells the building inspector he can't fail you. Doesn't work that way.
Lol

Substitute “cant” with “has no legitimate reason to”

revised:

a ref has no legitimate reason to T up paul in THAT MOMENT if he was mouthy 5 minutes before that?!??

thanks for your contribution

My point was that the folks on here advocating screaming @ officials have no clue(not you far as I know). Never coached basketball but did football for many years, many levels. If you treat officials like gentlemen, 95% of the time you will be listened to. Voice displeasure but don't be disrespectful. There are guys like Boroski, but you learn who they are and don't give them a reason.
There are times when you need to blow up and get tossed to make a point but they are few and far between.
When you fight the law during a game, the law wins. Every time. Bench coach getting the boot is unacceptable.
We are gonna be the new kids for a looong time. Just have to fight through it.
My family bought a house in the mountains over 30 years ago and we're STILL the folks that bought so and so's place. Lol

BAC I agree 90% of the time but refs are a game changer.

If a referee is using Ts to control a game than they have done an extremely poor job up to that point. I have never seen a good officiating crew lose control of a game.

On top of that Ting up bench personnel without going to head coach first is amateur hour and really shows that the refs were to emotional and losing control of themselves
Good point here about the refs; they would have been much more effective if they had brought the two coaches together and spoke to them, or walked up to the benches and gave them a warning first. Calling that many T's was not justified without first communicating a little better.

That is my experience coaching and playing on different levels. Be communicative with the refs but not condescending or argumentative and you will be listened to. There are many times after making your case the ref will see your point and admit to making a bad call. More than likely there will be a make up call. My fear is some of our players have developed a reputation of being chronic whiners. Which create a negative bias. But guys like bo it is better to not engage. Guy wants to be the main character.

I am fascinated by the amount of people who want pikiell to get T’d up as if it does anything other than hurt your team. Yelling at officials doesn’t do anything to “protect”players

I agree to a point. Not advocating for being a chronic yeller or getting t’d up. But there is a time and place to show some emotion. It’s okay to get animated with the officials at times. Just not all of the time.
