Lee had some moments where it looked liked they where gonna give up in the first half. But they came out from halftime and played hard. Hit some shots and played 100% better. Dug to big of a hole early and couldn't come back. To me they showed alot of heart for such a young team and will make some noise real soon. Imagine this team with C and J. Just a thought. Oh...I noticed that the JV had like 17 players.

Lee had a bad first quarter getting outscored 28-8. After that they outscored Spotswood in the remaining three quarters. Including scoring 57 second half points. I think Lee is getting better with each game. By postseason time they will be a true threat. This is the best three point shooting team Lee has ever had in my opinion. Also it's worth pointing out that one of Lee's leading scorers had a tough night. Gunner Cook was help to single digits in this loss. Lee had cut the lead to 9 at one point but had dug to big of a hole against the Blazers.

Overall I was impressed by Lee's effort. Take away the bad start and they may have beaten the Blazers. Rematch should be interesting later in the year in Staunton. Spotswood is so quick and athletic. I think they are headed for another long run in the 3A postseason.

I agree with you, like I said it was going to be a better game than most people thought. I was definitely impressed with them in the second half. They will be fine. We may see this team late in the post season. I would like to ad that my little cuz plays for the jv. Leemen I'm headed to Petersburg in A few so good luck to y'all today and I'll post the score at the half and updates on some players. I hear the burg has A kid that's been putting up 30 to 35 a few times this year.
