King misses 3 or 4 shots a game and its, "That's why he's not playing"..

Yet, if you watch Louisville basketball, you'll notice EV-VER-REE-BODY is missing shots. A LOT of them. Easy ones... Hard ones..

I'm not saying he should be starting over guys, but maybe not yank him everytime he struggles in his first 4 minutes of playing time.

He's not getting taken out because of offense though, it's his defense. Sometimes he goes for the steal and gets blown by. Just freshman mistakes

King missing shots has nothing to do with his limited playing time. It has everything to do with his missed defensive assignments. When the light comes on for him, and he starts understanding the defensive scheme while being in better position, he'll start playing more. A lot more.

Coach Pitino said he was yanked for not taking open shots.
In other words he's a freshman.

He should start or back up Donovan. If VJ doesnt stsrt, Donovan starts at the 3, and
David starts at the two. Should see more of Ryan and Hicks.

Very true. He's a Luke Hancock but better shooting accuracy. Just not as tough as Hancock was yet

Are you comparing Hancock and McMahon's overall game or just shooting?

Hopefully not overall game because that wouldn't be a good comparison. RM not nearly tall or athletic as LH.

Be careful with opinions. That rufles feathers around these parts pitinar iz the head ball coach and weez dont needs to have an opinion of the team we love.

He's not athletic enough, yet. I say he gets there. But yeah as with accuracy and shooting, definitely

Like most players who lack perspective, VJ's shooting affects the rest of his game. If he hits a couple shots, he plays better and vice versa. Pitino doesn't really care if these guys miss shots, they can't let it affect the rest of their game. I'm not reading his mind--he says that.

When that correlation ends, VJ will start getting more minutes. At the moment, it means when he misses shots, he will shortly come outta the game. But it has nothing to do directly with his shooting...

I don't know, dude. I get "recency-bias" but until Ryan hits a string of 3's like what we saw in the NCAA title game, I'm not ready to say he has better accuracy. I have put my 2013 NCAACG DVD in just to skip to that run, skip to Trez's monster dunk, and then went about the rest of my awesome day.

Well, if he's not all-in L1C4, he might. Color me skeptical about any 5-star kids we sign...
Kid stuck through all the NCAA allegations and stay committed. He seems like a 5 star L1C4. I read/saw something not to far back that he really likes it at UL. Something from a post game video.

I hope you're right...if for no other reason than to prove kids can be both team-first AND five star...
