MSU likely wins, doubt Duke is out of the top 10 though. Top 10 isn’t really that strong imo.

Right now Duke is better than we are. But that is okay because we are playing nothing but inexperienced players and Duke has a couple of guys that have had plenty of playing time. I cannot tell you which team has the higher ceiling but Duke does have some outstanding Talent. It is how it all meshes together.
Duke has Allen and the rest of the starting 5 are freshmen. Bolden and De Laurier are coming off the bench and are sophomores. The other two guys that will get any minutes off the bench are freshmen as well.
What does different teams with completely different players have to do with that game? Duke is talented. But no way of knowing what will happen Tuesday. Too early in the season.
Agree 100%. I just think that the Duke fans are stretching the truth when they deny the effects of travel, playing on the road, etc even on young athletes. But, I really wouldn't expect a Duke fan to understand what it is like to play on the road! [winking][roll]
Duke wins by 30. Duke beat Utah Valley by 15 each half. UK lost 1 half by 9 to the same team, and then beat them by 19 in the 2nd half. I wouldn't worry about it too much. That first half we played like complete garbage, and it's November.
That logic doesn’t work in sports though. Two many things to factor in like match ups. Right now Duke seems to be better than UK (expected). But most teams tend to be better than UK early on, UK now and UK in Feb (based on history) will be two different teams.
Williams owns him too. He has a lot of FFs, but Izzo is not the coaching legend many make him out to be.

We will be much better by March. I'm just saying not to freak out. We play a normal 1st half, and we win by 20-30 points. That's just a fact.
Not accurate. It looks like we are going with a 9 man rotation. Bolden and Delaurier are subbing the bigs, Goldwire is subbing Tricky at the point and Alex O’Connell is subbin in for Grayson and Gary

The remainder revolves around the fact that almost every single post you make on here revolves around Duke, playing devil's advocate/backhanded complimenting Kentucky fans, and recruits (the more Duke-related, the better).

Have to figure the excitement of last night coupled with the travel, etc caught up with them a bit. That said, it'd be nice if we had a senior (like Duke) to lead our team right now. They were most fortunate to get Bagley. Let's check things at the end of the year...and next year.

No surprise that this game turned ugly. They started out great then they run out of steam because of playing the day before.

Cal still has NO IDEA how this team needs to play yet to give us the best chance to win.
We didn't even try the zone till 2nd half.
Cal will probably do a lot of experimenting early in the season and I doubt he cares whether we win by 10 or 30 at this point.
Duke is a definite favorite to win it all this year, but we just need to focus on our young team and hope we can get to the final 4.
Odds are that we'll never cross paths with them this year.
They're young too, so in a "one and done" tournament, young teams seldom show up for 6 six straight games.
