Not the same. One team played a game and then got on a plane to go play another game in a different state the next day. The other team went back to their dorm. How is that the same? Not sure why that is so hard to understand.

I admire the lengths that you continuously go to in order to convince our newer/less frequent posters that you're not a Duke fan, but completely downplaying the fatigue (including the emotional component) of back to back games, with travel, at Rupp and Cameron indoor as a mid major player, is perhaps a new zenith (nadir?) for you.
Playing yesterday makes zero difference. Duke is just much better than UVU. That shouldn’t be a shock to anyone. If they played KU or Arizona etc it wouldn’t have mattered. It may matter to a 40 year old but it makes zero difference to them
Also living out here in Utah we are up in the nourtwins so when we go back east we actually can breath better and perform better athletically Cuz we are no longer in high altitude so that’s a big advantage. Anyone that has played here or Denver or trained out here or Denver can attest to that. The only way switching the time zone could be a issue is if UVU was from back east and came to UTah/Denver the next night. Outside of that it’s not a issue

Did duke play an out of state game then fly back home to play this one? No? Didn't think so. Not sure how you can't grasp this but whatever helps you with your excuses.
The primary expense for a mid-major player playing in Rupp and Camerson back-to-back isn't physical.

Of course you can’t, you’ve never played college basketball so I wouldn’t expect you to understand. I’ve had games like this three different times and there was no big effect. Nephew at Stanford had two games like that and he said it doesn’t bother you. Brother only had one game like that and he also said it was no issue and they waxed the next team due to going east (since he played in high altitude at Colorado). But yeah people who have actually done it playing basketball would have zero clue.
But no the worse are the people who do come up with some kind of excuse like you. I’m pretty sure when any of you’re teams lose you blame the refs or schedule or coaching or some other lame excuse instead of acknowledging the fact that one team just happens to be better than you’re team in that night. Then when you’re frustrated or anyone gives any praise to another team you will say “ oh you’re a closet fan of that team, or that’s you’re team”. You need to grow up and realize some people are actually mature enough to see things in reality instead of blinded fan bias.

You have no way of knowing that. First of all they have no bench at all. If basically any of their starters go down, they are severely impacted. As for the MSU game, I am definitely not sold on them being rated so high, but I doubt they get blown out.
Tues is going to show just how good these four top teams truly are at this point. Looking elite vs a mid major is one thing but doing it against another ranked team is another.

I would be interested in seeing the actual schedules you are talking about. When did Stanford do this, for example? It wouldn''t be too hard to look up and compare if we knew what season you are talking about or if you gave the actual schools.

Exactly. There’s is no way what so ever to know that just by watching them beat a mid major. MSU isn’t UVU. They are quicker, more athletic, more skilled than UVU and it isn’t even close. They also have vets who have been through the wars before and one of the best coaches in the game in izzo.

Every teams freshman will get better. Arizona, Kansas and MSU looked just as good if not better vs mid majors so Duke isn’t doing anything those other teams haven’t done
