5 minutes to go in the first quarter and so far utah has controlled this game. Oregon might go down in defeat tonight.

I saw that spread and figured something was up. Utah had a lot of respect from the sharps I guess.

Kansas State vs Baylor is a competetive game. 7 point game. KSU is play hard trying to knock off Baylor.

Damn I love college football. Even with our losing record I can never wait until the next game. There's nothing like Saturdays in the fall. I think the no fans in the stand and potential of no college football really drove it home for me last year.

Looks like Utah coaches have their team ready to play tonight. Looks like an exciting team to watch.

Maybe we take this coaching staff. Looks like they know what they are doing. Called timeout to make them punt. Returned for a TD b4 halftime. Boom.

With Oregon going down in defeat tonight we will probably have to deal with an unattractive Cincy vs Georga first-round playoff game. But it would be cool to see an underdog win, but it ain't gonnna happen.

If only we had hired Whittingham instead of Riley
I'm not sure it would have matter given how fractured our fan base was. Whittingham hasn't done much in the Pac 12 and had some years when he finished at the bottom of their conference. I'm not sure even that he would have taken the job if offered. He's at home in Utah.

Whittingham wouldn't have won the division at Nebraska. I am pretty confident in saying that. utah always starts the season slow, losses some games, and then by the end of the season they are one of the best in the country. It's similar to Iowa some seasons.

We need to be good from the start to finish to get to Indy. You can't start slow in this conference.

He hasn't won his division in the Pac 12 yet and he's had multiple losing conference records. They're pretty damned good this year.

Looks like the Pac-12 will cannibalize themselves and won't send anyone to the playoffs this season. Maybe the winner of the Big 12 or Cincinnati will get in.

The only people in the Northwest who like the Ducks are those who went to Oregon. I've been getting texts all night from friends enjoying their beat down. It almost makes up for the Huskers losing, again!

Kyle allegedly goes off to the darkside. He is a snowboarder. From his office in SLC he can be on a hill in 45 minutes or less. Not sure that could happen in Lincoln.

We had that chance but Eichorst went after Smilin Mike instead

If the bar for pursuing a current power 5 coach is having current success + divisional and conference titles at their current school then we are not in the market for coaches that fit that profile. I don’t think any coach who is winning conf or divisional titles at a power 5 school would consider jumping ship for Nebraska.

the caveat is the big 12 where if some coaches think that conference is in severe enough decline they might be willing to leave
