Go Cats! I don’t mean to be so critical. I lived in Knoxville for 12 years and they have the worst fans.
They haven’t won the SEC tournament since 1979 and have never made a Final Four.
They hang their hat on beating UK even cut the nets down after winning the regular season sec championship over us in the 70’s.
They act as if they’ve been there when they haven’t!
I agree with you 100%. In football some of their fans think they have still have an elite program and are one coaching fire/hire away for relieving the glory days. Those days are gone and aren’t coming back. They had a very solid basketball team last season and when most everyone made the decision to come back and they added a good recruiting class to it I thought they would be a top 10 team this season. Maybe I’m over exuberant that I felt I saw this coming and it ended up being true but I’m definitely not a UT fan by a long shot.
Better call them and let them know we are UK and they are supposed to roll over.
It is pretty sad when a UK basketball poster brings in the result of their football game with UT on their basketball site. It just goes to show you how low both UT`s football and UK's basketball program have fallen and that neither gets the respect one would think they would. It also shows how much UT's basketball program is gaining in prestige and respect.
Bro, you might wanna delete this. UK has a title and 4 final fours the last ten years.... what does UT have?

You clowns don't even get the point of my post so I will explain it to you as simply as I can : one of your poster was stating something about uk' s football program on this uk basketball forum and I was stating the fact that UT basketball is so much more widely successful and recognized now than our football program. How tragic have the mighty fallen ( uk's basketball program and UT's football program ). And before any one gets on here and starts to describe uk's history (b/c that is the standard reply) - I'm going on what I read from your own posters about the program . Am I ltelling the truth or not?
