SEC had two chances today to get big wins and blew both of them.

About 10 of those attempts came on intentional fouls in overtime. Also our best player played 17 minutes. Plus we missed 12 of them.
Admiral killed us in regulation. Very suspect decisions and no idea what’s in his head at this point. Maybe nba scouts told him he needs to be shooting threes. Not his strength, he needs to be on the block. Vols got the whistle all night and should have won by 5-8 points. Kansas got the whistle in overtime but never should have come to that.

Azibuike is not a good player. He’s just big. He is a foul waiting to happen. I knew we would easily get him into foul trouble. That Pons putback they took off the board and Schofield shooting dumb shots killed our chances. We choked the game away. I’m convinced TN is better than KU, but we don’t have their basketball bankroll.

We shall see. I think we have two wins against top 10 teams. I think they are overvaluing Duke based on beating a young Kentucky team the first game of the season which inflates the perception of how good Gonzaga really is. Duke got games from Auburn and Gonzaga. One one by 6 and lost the other.
I think KU should move up to #1, but it doesn't matter. KU is going to lose a game this year and Duke is going to lose again, so Gonzaga will move up to #1 and stay there for whatever the remainder of the season ends up being, since they play no one the rest of the year and will win out.

Kentucky didn't steal ****..Kentucky beat your pathetic Vols in the game that mattered the most fair and square last year with probably Coach Cal's 2nd worst UK team. And yes, I stand by what I said..UK will be good enough to beat UT in Rupp Arena in mid February (Still nearly 3 months away) and UT will win in TBA in early March..because UT fans will be out in groves and the game will surely be a sellout for UT's annual SuperBowl in basketball. The rest of SEC/SEC fans is/are pathetic !! When they play each other, you can hear a damn pin drop in the stands..no matter the arena..but when UK comes to town, there's maroon outs, black and gold outs, orange outs, red outs, and every kind of "out" you can think of and the arena is jam packed and going nuts and of course your teams save their best for their Daddy/Big Brother, UK.
Not to mention when UK is in a Final 4 (Ya know..something UT has never been to), the rest of the SEC fans (Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, etc etc...all of them) call UK cheaters and dirty and talk **** about our team and Coach Cal and pray that UK loses all over social media. I hope this is correct ! I honestly can see it playing out like that. People just don't understand that when this UK team starts to click, they will be a really great team. 3 months is a long time from now and they won't even resemble the November or even December versions of themselves. Anybody playing UK in mid to late January, February, and March and penciling a "W" in because of the Duke game is sorely mistaken and will regret it.
