ULL got hosed on a call with about 20 secs left in 1st half. The receivers foot hit the pylon for a TD as he didn’t step out of bounds. How the zebras missed that even AFTER a review was criminal. And, ULL fumbled going into USM’s end zone in 1st half which kept 7 more pts off board.
They really should’ve won by 14 in regulation.

I didn’t see the play, but if any body part other than the ball hits the pilon, the ball has to be inside or over the pilon for it to be a touchdown. That’s a rule many people don’t know. So if his foot hit the pilon, but the ball was in his outside hand and didn’t go inside the pilon, then it’s not a touchdown.

This is correct. If the ball touches the pylon, it is a TD. If any body part touches it, it is like touching out of bounds, and the ball is dead at that point.
