I hope our future Band Director is taking notes during these halftime performances. This is how it's done.

It's partly a numbers game. SC has 500 plus kids in the band. And they are supported through some scholarships.
Playing an uncomplicated music arrangement with a weak-*** field show (mostly park-and-bark) but doing it with numbers?
What are you talking about? We can make an R, we've got that letter down pat. Maybe next year we'll be able to make the U as well. Now that'll be 50% progress.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
That too. It looked like we had 75 this year. We need endowment up for the band almost as much as we need it for athletics. I heard from some band members that there are people like them who do it because they want to and then there are people who have to do band because of their major. Creates a bit of tension when you have people who are forced to do and extracurricular activity and don't like it. But I suppose it's to help with the numbers since we can't offer any scholarships.
You can also complain about a Nit game thread being on a Rutgers board.
Rutgers Al once said RU was the USC of the East, so a USC Rose Bowl game thread should be acceptable
But since there are some Nit posters that don't post on BWI ( from what I think some have said in the past) it stands to reason if they post a lot on this board and not BWI they will be talking Rose Bowl here in a thread started for the Rose Bowl game..

Penn State band showing no class or decorum with their dumb "We are" chant as the pass the broadcast table. Just like the idiots walking into HPSS for our game. Just STFU already. There is a time and a place for your nonsense. But a lot of cult fans have absolutely no filter and only think about themselves and their beloved football program and not much else.
Needs a culture change. At SC and I assume other schools, it's a cool respectable thing. Alums love it.
If that were Rutgers and we started the R-U chant you know you'd think differently.
