I agree I think not too many people would turn down the job. However, Chris Petersen did in 2013 and stayed in Boise so it’s not none.

A lot of people have turned down that job!! Since Pete left they have had 6 HC since 2009. Helton twice.. They are not an elite program anymore. They are a dumpster fire. Pac12 football. Isn't must watch anymore

They are old, but never get old. I like Pac 12 football. A guy in our office is a Cal grad, and Pac 12 north was fun to watch when Leach and Petersen were coaches. Now Cristobal has Oregon back, and Stanford may be good this year, but they did have a questionable loss.

Listen I love daytime PAC12 football and that is the problem. Their key games normally start at 10pm Eastern Time. Basketball too. Recruits have bailed on the PAC-12 as they want to be seen everywhere

Saturdays that are not RU game days start at 11 a.m. and run through to 1:30-2 a.m. on Sundays. Love watching 10-10:30 p.m. start games. I know I am in the minority.

Yes technically 6 coaches but 3 of them were just interim. I take it as 3 actual coaching hires. All three of those were Carroll offshoots and some made by bad ADs.

Not so sure about Bohn. He did hire Fickell on Gene Smith’s recommendation but made a poor hire or hires at Colorado before that. If they finally get away from USC guy or Carroll guy which I think they will I think they should be okay. If it’s a name like Fickell, Campbell or O’Brien I think they can be brought back to conference and possibly national contender again. I don’t think there as much of a has been program as you do, they just need the right coach.

As far as the PAC 12, I think they’re trying to get their games into earlier windows. The alliance will help that along as well whenever it’s implemented. Just like anyone else if they win they’re relevant if they don’t they’re not. Nice wins by UCLA and Oregon get them talked about again. If they keep it up maybe the conference finally gets a reappearance in the playoffs.
