Riley seems like a total dick, with the style of offense he plays its gonna always be hard for the defense.

If coach white wants to leave he’ll leave, no amount of money will keep him. On the other hand maybe he loves living in Lincoln and loves Nebraska football and he wants to stay, again no money would change his mind
I partially agree with you. I think is someone is dead set on leaving a place because they are unhappy living there than no amount of money is going to change their mind. However, I also think a person can be happy at one place, but when another opportunity comes up that offers substantial more money that could entice a person to leave.

Lincoln Riley has been pretty lucky so far. He came into Norman to get Bob Stoops offense rolling after coaching at Texas Tech and East Carolina. He got really lucky when Stoops left him with the keys to the car after just 2 years. During his 5 years at the helm at OU he lost just 2 games per year. Used that success to go to USC. Lucky because it was for a lot of money. After only 2 years in LA there is already talk of him going to the NFL. He coached the Trojans to an 11-3 record last year. Now they are 7-3 with Oregon and UCLA left on the schedule. I think they will lose big to the Ducks but probably slide by UCLA. With an 8-4 record and joining the BIG, Lincoln may want to play his LUCKY Card again and go coach a NFL team. I bet the Chargers job will be open at the end of the season. If Riley does stay for another year or two does Tony White have any aspirations of getting into the NFL? That's what we Husker fans need to know.

We're going to find out how serious we are about being winners. If he leaves for a head coach job then there's nothing we can do, but if he leaves for a coordinator then we screwed up big time and clearly STILL aren't ready to be a big time program.

Hey dipshit, maybe you missed the part where I said we should match any reasonable offer.
Maybe you missed the part where you said he isn’t that good. I know I didn’t miss that part.

And clearly you missed the part where @leodisflowers has you on ignore. Responding to him doesn’t do you any good.

And since when did you start resorting to name calling? If memory serves, you get super bent out of shape when people call you names. Open season now?

I don't keep track of who has me on ignore, and frankly, I don't care. I thought you had me on ignore at one point, and I preferred that in all honesty.

Where did I say that he isn't that good? You're putting words in my mouth that I never said, but you do this constantly, I really wouldn't expect anything less from the likes of you.

If White wants to leave after 1 year and be a mercenary, then **** him. I don't think he's as responsible for the defense's success as claimed. We have a good group of players on that side of the ball, and I'd attribute the improvement at least as much, if not more, to the position coaches. We're also playing in the Big 10, and it's pretty standard to play good defense in this conference. I think we'll be fine either way, but yes we should match any reasonable offer if USC makes it.
This right here is you completely undermining his efforts. I’m guessing the reason for his success at Syracuse was because of his players and assistant coaches as well. Couldn’t be his own merits. No surprise you can’t see it in your own post. You never do.

And if you don’t want to read my posts, put me on ignore. Not that hard. The reason I took you off ignore is because the inanity of your posts amuse me. They are consistently bad, which makes me smh. Comical.

I'm not undermining his efforts at all. That you choose to read it that way just shows how much of a downer you really are. The players and assistant coaches are working their asses off. Not it's not all Tony White that's responsible for their success, and that's a fact. I don't know why anyone would get so butthurt over that statement.

Reread your post. I don’t think he’s as responsible for the defense’s success as claimed.

Of course, the players and the assistant coaches have worked hard as well. But this statement right here is saying that this defense could’ve done this without Tony White. How can you claim that?

You want me to grovel for Tony White, and I'm not going to. If he leaves, then don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out. If he stays, then great. I think we'll be fine either way.

I don’t want you to grovel for Tony white. That’s stupid. If he leaves, he leaves. We will find someone else for you to denigrate. But maybe give credit for a job well done to this point. Is that being unreasonable?

If White leaves for USC, at best, in 5 years he will be a DC @ Georgia Southern.

Lincoln’s style of offense is his own defense’s biggest problem. Coaching his defense is suicide

Our team caters to a defensive scheme so it’s why we have low scoring games. His does the opposite so they have high scoring games.

That was exactly my entire point dude. You're turning this into something it's not.
If this was your point, then say that and be done with it. But you said he isn’t responsible for the defense, but the players and assistant coaches played a bigger role. That’s more than if he leaves, he leaves.

Tough guy… how about you not taking everything so damn personal? You are not giving him credit IN THIS THREAD. I don’t read every thread, so haven’t seen you give him credit in other threads. In this thread you have given credit to assistant coaches and players. Not White. So I took issue with it.

And you call me dipshit and tell me to F off.

Someone’s being an ***, and it isn’t me.

I just disagreed… You’re the one who made it personal. Why you can’t keep it civil when you disagree with someone is beyond me.

Cry some more.
lol, typical response for someone without an answer. I didn’t name call at all until you kept crying about my post seeking credit for White. Instead, you call me names and cry that I haven’t put you on ignore.

Now it’s my turn, dipshit. If you don’t want to read my posts put me on ignore. If I put you on ignore, you’ll still see my posts, dumbass. Since you won’t do this, you are either too stupid to know how to do it, or you secretly like being an *******.

Either way is not a flattering look for you. And I’m not putting you on ignore, so guess what? Looks like whenever I disagree with you, you’re just gonna have to accept that I don’t agree.

Have a nice evening.

Having lived in CA, they better adjust that total to be after taxes. I moved out of there and turned down a number of lucrative jobs in CA because the tax is so ****in high across the board except property tax.
that's funny Leo. Can't wait to get out of Cali and move to Colorado. But property taxes in San Francisco two and a half times the state income tax. Got to have the cash for the homeless and druggies.

You get super unhinged over literally the dumbest things. I'm here to discuss Husker football, not have stupid little spats with people. If that's what you want, leave me out of it.

I tried to discuss. I disagreed with your take. Rather than respond to my take, you called me a Dipshit. And you call me unhinged?
