and great defense from the back four and a couple of great saves from Howard. Park the bus in front of goal, let Mexico kick the ball around and show off their superior technique, and then score on a counter (or a somewhat lucky bounce in this case). Nice.

age 23 with 3 senior team players, none of whom played in this match (they were honored at halftime). But we had a team of scrubs on the pitch at the end except for maybe 4 starters. The goal came from Michael Orozco Fiscal, a player who rarely makes our team. We might not even see him again for a while because we usually have better players at his position. We were missing some of our starters for this match--a midweek friendly in Mexico city when several European-based Americans have to play this weekend
