At what point does what a team did in the 50s and 60s still matter? Hell Minnesota was a power a 100 years ago, should they and army not be on the list. Instead of ranking them on what they did 70 years ago, how about ranking them on what they have done in the past decade or so, and what they can do in the next 5 to 10 years. Nebraska was great 25 to 30 years ago, but is that window now closed, same for Oklahoma and aTm, used to be very good, but when was the last time aTm won anything. Since joining the SEC aTm best record has been 11-2 back in 2012, generally they have been a 4 to 5 win team in the conference, before that in the B12, they were even worse or .500 most seasons in the conference, until you go back to 1998. Doing all that with all the money in the world. Not even going to mention Boise and Utah that got most of those wins in the Mountain West Conference.

Well, yet another subjective list for people to argue about.

It does refer to "programs", not just W's. So, I suppose it would include things like fan support and TV viewers, financial strength, stadium, etc.

I guess I agree with a lot of it, including Iowa's rank, But, they do have some head-scratchers in there.

All history matters or none of it does, you cannot have it both ways. Aside from beating nebraska, iowa has done nothing significant nationally during nebraska’s slump.

Fortunately iowa fans are tame in person and stay in their place.
Again, I never claimed that Iowa has done anything significant in recent history. I'm not sure where you're getting that from. I simply said that history prior to my birth matters less to me and likely a vast majority of Iowa fans over the age of 35. Also 10 years is a hell of a slump. If incoming recruits can't remember a season where their prospective team was relevant that's an uphill battle to reverse the trend.

*Edit: I misspoke, it should say "under the age of 35" instead of "over." I don't want to change the initial post so I'll put this note.

Beating Nebraska hasn't been nationally significant. It's the expectation.

Fortunately Nebraska fans are very mild mannered and meek in person. They know the drill.

As you lose your next handle and scurry back to your basement to find another, remember our dominion over you.

What the Nebraska troll fails to tell you, while feigning surprise at why Iowa fans "get triggered" despite kicking Nebraska's a$$ year after year, is that Nebraska turds like him flooded these boards for years

We were put on notice, issued comical "Frost warnings", informed that It was only a matter of time Nebraster would be continuously playing for the title.

Most of the logical husker fans knew they lost the fight. Only this multi-handled psychotic turd remains

As good of a ranking as i’ve come across that takes into account historical significance and current play. If Nebraska had continued with 8-10 wins from 2015-2024, they'd be in the top 10. iowa is ranked correctly.
