It was too late in the week by the time I thought about doing something for the PGA, but I used to enjoy doing office pools for the Masters, and I was curious as to whether any of y’all would be interested in doing a 6pack pool for the US Open.

Something along the lines of $20 entry, pick a player from 6 different flights, and top 4 scores will be counted for your team total.

Anyone interested?

Good deal, sounds like we’ve at least got 5-6 that are game, so I’ll plan on putting something together. I’ll forewarn everyone that this’ll most likely be old school spreadsheet management since all the online options that I’ve found seem to want to charge you to run a pool, but we’ll work it out.

For those interested, if you’ll PM me an email address that you’d like to use, I’ll send out more info during the next week about how we’ll run it.

Sounds like something I'd do, but you'll have to explain the rules (such as flights since they're all sub-par golfers). Not sure how you'd collect money but I don't do PayPal.

Yep, the pool is a go. We’ve got 8 entries, and for anyone that still wants in, I just need you to PM me an email address so that I can get you the form and rules. As long as I have your entry and $20 by end of day, we’ll get you in

At the moment, PineGrove and msudawg12 are lapping the field thanks to solid Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed picks. msudawg12 is also killing it with his alternates by getting Fowler and ol reliable Oosthuizen.

Personally, I’m getting my butt kicked. I went with the worst Flight 1 player in Morikawa, and it’s killing me at the moment

Boy round one was a bad start for my picks. I actually meant Justin and just fat fingered a D on my first pick! And Thomas and Johnson are almost the same name.

So many of us picked the same players. Matsuyama and Xander were pretty universally picked. The Oosthazen pick might cause the win.

Truthfully i lucked out there. Inpicked a player that had withdrawn (had been dealing with a death in the family and wasnt paying attention) and Seinfeld pointed that out to me. Louis/bubba were the two i had just left out of my 4 and i lucked out by saying Louis

I wasn’t involved in the pool, but do any of you guys think that Bryson might be on PED?
