I am not sure why you made this reply to me. I havd said all along we are a republic.

My bad Dave, I was replying to Country and evidently replied to the wromg thread. Must have had a senior moment. Again, I am sorry, really just replied to the wrong person.

Obey orders of the President? WTF? That is not in the oath of office. You f’ucking fraud.

Oath of Office
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
Google Enlisted Military Oath of Office and you will find that it is written as Gunnny reflected. When Officers are appointed via Military Academies, Officer Candidate Schools, ROTC. or direct appointment channels, they take the Oath that you cited. Two totally different animals. Nowhere in the Officer Oath is anything sworn to other than supporting and defending the Constitution, and pledging allegiance to ensuring it is done.
